Mark has cleared out most of the guys I can think of. Who do you think he should fight next?
Kids on a roll.
yeah but nobodys ever heard of his opponents
Didn't Damian dick tuck Mark a while ago? Does that kid even still fight? Wish i could see that, or what about the Lenny Kravitz doppelganger?
Mark better be training hard for his bachelor party. ;)
Been training hard for my party downing Jager like it's water, can't wait!
Saltsman in my opinion is the toughest out of all of them even though chapman beat him. hes getting better and has the best wrestling (the best ability to control the fight against cherico)
ive seen mark grapple 200+ pound, EXCELLENT wrestlers with no problem. its my opinion that it wont be an issue. and mark easily outguns him standing.
further evidence: Healy is a pretty damn respectable wrestler and it didnt make a bit of difference when mark and him went to the ground.
Saltsman is in a class of his own, hes head and shoulders better than healey on the ground and his stand up gets better and better everytime he fights... He is the best one to fight thats left and that will fight cherico
Nate Mango is a good fight for Mark.
Poindexter is a GREAT fight for Mark.
Is Saltsman staying at 145?
Is Chapman moving up also?
Mixed Martial Arts Murder Machine
id say BP is a killer 135.
Saltsman is fighting BP at 145
Chapman has fought at 45 and someone else mentioned it.
those guys are natural 135ers. id not consider them so heavily. i mean they'd make great fights, but when you are at the top like mark is, you have to choose only fights to escalate your career. if he beats a 35er, people will have the ability to bitch about the "well you outweigh the guy" stuff. for example: you know like if GSP were to beat pettis, would it really escalate GSPs carreer? youve got to fight at the same weight or heavier to get max points.
right now my list (sticking to 45ers) is:
best fight i can imagine - chase piatt
tony metsch (especially if he beats rj buck)
potentially nate mango
id also maaaaybe consider isiah chapman as he has taken many fights and holds a belt at 145
I think your right:
Musselman maybe the biggest 45er Ive ever seen. I think Mark subs him early though.
I like the Chapman match up alot, as he is a polar opposite of Cherico. I think he is also the "Highest profile" fighter right now. So the winner of that fight would basically be the best under 155lb fighter in the area point blank period.
Chase Piatt maybe on paper the best logical fight though (6-0) vs. (7-0) That would be great if someone could put that together * Cough* Klaus * Cough*
...and last night Tony Metsch made work of RJ Buck. I'm dying to see how this plays out.
He looked sharp, nice combinations, good takedown defense and obviously good jits. 5-0 to boot.
